New LED lighting for Sports Center de Boogerd

Recently, WaterVision delivered new lighting to Sports Center de Boogerd in Oud-Beijerland. During the annual ‘big’ cleaning in the first 3 weeks of the summer holidays, in addition to the maintenance work, all underwater lamps were immediately replaced by the latest generation of LED lighting from WaterVision.

Atmospheric colors under water

Under water, the old white lighting has been replaced by atmospheric color lighting (RGBxW) of the WV15 ColorWave type to meet the needs of multiple target groups. For example, various color schemes can be chosen to match lighting to the activity. Technical manager Swimming Pools Pierre van der Nat says:

 

 

 

“The RGBxW lighting increases safety through a better view of swimmers in the water, but also enhances the atmosphere during activities such as disco swimming or during the Christmas and Easter period. In the coming dark winter months we will experience a lot of benefit and cosiness from the new underwater lighting.”

The smallest underwater LED lights from WaterVision have been placed in the two whirlpools. These WV3 underwater lamps have a power of 17 watts, have a diameter of only 56 mm and radiate a beautiful ‘Mediterranean blue’ color.

Total atmosphere experience

Simultaneously with the installation of the new WaterVision underwater lighting, various LED spots have also been placed directly above water to beautifully illuminate the elements in the paddling pool and paddling pool. “By also placing various spots above water, it has really become one”, says Pierre. Both the underwater lighting and the above water lighting are controlled centrally via the multifunctional ColorComposer that can be operated from the lifeguard station.

Sportcentrum de Boogerd is part of management company Bres accommodations. At Sportcentrum de Boogerd you will find several sports facilities under one roof. The sports complex offers a subtropical swimming pool, competition pool, sports hall, tennis courts and squash courts. The multifunctional space is suitable for meetings, presentations and workshops and serves many target groups.
