Account Manager (International)
What exactly does that mean?
As an Account Manager you are the face of the company and the point of contact for relations in Europe. You are responsible for sales and know how to deal with sales channels: direct sales, agents and indirect sales channels. You can respond expertly to tenders and you can build relationships with architects, planning offices, operating companies and municipalities. You can advise how lighting in demanding environments of swimming pools above and below water can be operated sustainably and profitably.
You have the following skills:
- You have commercial insight, you see opportunities in the market, you can make and implement business plans. You know how to acquire customers and retain existing customers. You oversee the financial consequences of decisions and you are good at negotiating;
- You can communicate with clients and gain clarity about requirements, wishes and specifications;
- You have good written and oral skills;
- You have architectural and technical insight;
We also ask:
- A completed university or HBO education
- At least 5 years of commercial work experience;
- Enthusiasm and persuasiveness;
- You are independent, proactive, ambitious and sales driven;
- You are a strong communicator and a good interlocutor at different levels;
- Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
Reporting
As an Account Manager you fall hierarchically and functionally directly under the director. You draw up the account plans in consultation with the director and you report frequently on the realization.
